perth.

ok, i'm waiting to pay my groceries kat jusco bkt tinggi ni n the line is neverending. of all the days, i chose sunday to go grocery shopping. padan muka skrg. ok, to kill the time, might as well write a post about perth just in case my memory went kaput later on.

perth is a very calm city. seriously. tak pernah terjadi traffic jam kat perth.at least during my stay there la kan. semua org sgt relax je. kalau pergi shopping pun relax, pegi makan pun relax, jogging pun relax, haha. i love it during the days but when night comes, oh, dead boring. mcm padang jarak padang terkukur. kedai bukak paling lewat 9pm. n most of it sampai kul 7 je kot. n not only that, da la tutup awal, macam restaurant tu, lunch time would be say from 12-3pm and dinnee would be from 5-8pm camtu. in between it will be closed. tak best ok, u really have to know their operation hours, kalau tak plan semua gagal,huhu.

our tour guide explained that it's due to the expensive labor cost in australia. even the cashier at a reataurant without any qualification can get $20 an hour, that would be roughly around rm60. ok. kalau $20 sejam, keje sehari 8 jam da berapa kan? bankrup bos.

ok, weather. sgt panas during summer.scorching hot ok. i'm talking sun directly above u hot ok. it was even hotter than malaysia. ngehngeh. org dok kuar dari perth during summer to avoid the heat, kami selamba bercuti kat sana kan. cool tak? even pakai sunblock pun kulit merah akan merah2 n kering merekah bagai.sbb malaysia basah dan lembap sepanjang thn, tp masa summer kat aussie adalah basah dan kering, sbb tu la jadi begitu ya. tp ok je, it did not stop us from enjoying our holiday pun,;)

perth ada pantai, ada desert, ada sungai, ada city & ada ladang.seriously, all within 50 km radius kot.pantai mereka sgt cantik dan bersih, air sgt biru kehijauan, and facilities kat beaches diorang sgt lengkap. tak mcm kat mesia.huhu. and if you go up north dlm 30 minutes drive you can see gurun padang pasir da. tetibe je ada gurun. ok la, boleh pegi sandboarding kat pasir mereka.

org2 kat sana sgt best, polite and berbudi bahasa. tp ada jugak yg kurang hajar. itu nama dia malaysian yg duduk kat perth.haha, kidding. one time at night, when we were strolling around the city,we met one australian guy who called us muslim terrorists and kept repeating it to other people that we're muslim terrorists just because we're wearing hijab.
luckily org lain buat bodoh je dgn org tu, n even called him "stupid!" for saying such things.

tp one thing, kalau pergi kedai, the sales person will greet u and ask "do you need any help today?". if u say yes, they will help u dgn sgt baik dan penuh keikhlasan, but if u tell them that u're just looking around or that u're fine without their help, they will smile, and tell you to feel free to look around and leave u alone. ah, that's the best part. kalau kat mesia, mesti da kena pandangan "kalau taknak beli sila keluar" ataupun fia alan ikut kita keliling kedai sampai kita keluar sbb rasa uncomfortable. haha.

currency mereka adalah australian dollars. and adalah sgt mahal kot bagi saya yang kedekut ni. rm1=$3.09~$3.19 gitu. pengsan ok. my mum kept telling us not to convert to malaysian ringgit when we want to buy anything, but i couldnt help but to do so.gila weh. tetibe kang nak beli spendar , 10 dollar, bunyi cam murah je kan. sekali convert rm32 bila balik rumah, tak ke nangis? baik beli prosperity burger 3. eh.

brg2 kat sana sgt mahal!!! seriously. sbb exchange rate mahal kot. tp sbb we arrived masa boxing day kan, mmg menggila la shopping murah masa first day tu. ngehngeh.itu entry lain kot. tp generally mcm food, sekali mkn cam waffle say 5 dollar, da 15 hengget da. ni makan kat outlet tepi jalan kalau kay shopping mall je ni, belum pegi exclusive place ke hape. malaysian food lagilah. oh by the way, perth sgt ramai malaysian, so ada la 2-3 kedai malaysian kat sana. tp mahal gilo weh. nasi goreng pattaya 30 hengget, roti canai 21 hengget, teh tarik 10 hengget. ngehngeh. sapo suruh gatal cari malaysian food kat perth kan?balik mesia sudah. haha.nasi campur+any meat(ayam or ikan)+sayur, rm23 gitu. masa2 tu gak dok pikir, ni kalau kat kantin sony rm2.50 je kot. haha. boleh?

other than makanan malaysia kat sana, we all had a great time eating their sea poducts. mainly fish n chips la. had the best fish n chips kat fremantle(20 minutes drive from perth city) kat restaurant kaili's.yumyum, sedapnya.teringin pls.seafood mereka fresh gila!tak pernah rasa seafood sefresh tu.they said the best fish n chip adalah cicerello's, next to kaili's tp sbb cicerello's using animal based oil yg kite tak sure kehalalannya, we had kaili's saja. itupun da sedap? tak taulah sedap camne cicerellos tu. waaaa! teringin!;(
