Aqeef's vocab at 28 months

Kick - tendang (perlu ke?hehe)

And many more. And he can form more sentences too. Comel je, sgt bersemangat bila bercerita.

Big rat in the kitchen

I was preparing stuff for work late last night when i heard a loud noise coming for the kitchen. Macam orang tgh selongkar barang camtu. My first thought was "oh no, ada perompak ke?". And when i saw all the doors in the house still intact and no sign of force entry, i calmed down.

However, the noise was still there. So i went to the kitchen and saw my little aqeef standing literally inside the refrigerator searching frantically for food and stayed there to eat. He was supposed to be sleeping. Oh my, i didnt even know he can open the refrigerator door on his own. Shish, my boy is all grown up now. And has mommy's passion for food. :)

The day it sucks to be a working mom.

Today i woke up with a smiling aqeef next to me. Played with him for half an hour before preparing to go to work.
He was ok all the while i was getting ready for work.

And then he started to pick up his favourite toys n books. Thomas book, elmo and more. I put on my socks and pick up my laptop bag to head out to work. That's when he said "jom mama, naik car".awwww. And i told him "mama needs to work sayang, nanti ptg mama balik kite play ok?". He started to scream "noooooooo....mama no work..." and kept repeating it.

He walked out the door, wore his crocs and followed me to the car. "mama, naik car jom". And i was already late for work and told bibik to bring him inside. Bibik carried him and he started screaming and crying to follow me to work.=(

I cried for 20minutes in the car.from kota kemuning til puchong. Tsk tsk tsk.
Suck it up. U know you'll never be a stay at home mom nordina.So why bother.

New diet plan

I'm on a new diet plan and loving it! I lost 6kg after 17 days!!!!masa pegi gym dulu pun berbulan jugak nak turun 5kg. Ni baru 17days dah turun 6kg. Wooott!!

And the best part is, i'm no longer hungry all the time now. No longer craving for sweet things and the best part is this new diet plan of mine gives me energy like never before. I get to come back from work, play with my son and exercise everyday.everday.

Kalau dulu, balik je lapar gila , makan dinner n melepek depan tv. Sekarang tidak lagi. Woohoo. Hopefully this thing will last. Huhu. And oh oh, i havent had any fast food in 17days too. And takde perasaan pun nak makan fast food. Amazing.

Average 300calories in an hour.everyday. even when i reached home from work at 12 midnight.I'm loving it.:)

Omes

I was sitting down, relaxing while reading a book, and my baby boy came to me, and shouted "omes!omes!omes!".he pulled my hand, urging me to get up on my feet and follow him somewhere. All the while shouting "omes!omes!" I was thinking, amende pulak omes ni. Famous amos ke apa dia nak malam2 ni.

He brought me to his ipad and showed me a youtube video of omes and said , "mama, akip nak omes. Pleaseeeeeeee...". Omaigod siap ada please tu, hati mama cair sayang oi.

Eksersais.

Ran for an hour. Aerobics with paula abdul for half an hour and cycled 13.6km(with elmo,apparently).oh, I just love saturdays. Dont you?:) happy weekends peeps!

One of those days

Pernah tak korang rasa macam bodoh gila sbb asyik ikut je cakap seseorang with higher level of authority, walaupun orang tu ckp benda yang salah,tapi still ikut je telunjuk diorang macam lembu
kena tarik hidung?ikut je even though korang tahu apa yg dia ckp tu salah?

Ridiculous punya mengarut yang melampau tak boleh diterima akal? Tapi kita still ikut sbb dia org yang berkuasa?oh. Saya selalu sungguh ok.

Tapi hari ni adalah bukan hari di mana saya rela dipijak. Saya telah meninggalkan tanggungjawab saya yang berlambak lambak hanya kerana saya tak mampu diperbodohkan, dihina dan direndah-rendahkan oleh orang itu. Not today.

Maybe its that time of the month. Maybe saya dah terjerumus dalam mood holiday 5 hari, lantas secara separa sedar telah memaksa emosi dan perasaan untuk tidak rela diperbodohkan. Mungkin. ;)

Apa-apa pun, syukur saya hidup je lagi walaupun kerja tak siap. Walaupun ada meeting yang saya skip. Tak effect pun hidup saya plis. Happy lagi ada.muahahaha.

Konspirasi

Scene 1(di depan kaabah):

Emak : "Ya Allah ya Tuhanku, kurniakanlah zuriat-zuriat yang soleh dan solehah kepada anakku Nordina..." sambil muka serius. Not sure she meant for me to hear it or not cause i was performing my tawaf before that n went to pray close to her. Terkesima gak.

Scene 2 (tgh bagi burung merpati makan kat tepi masjidil haram- oh, mutawwif2 and ustazah kata insyaAllah kalau nak dpt anak, n nak doa utk org2 yg nak dpt anak, niat kan utk siapa yang nak zuriat tu n doa sambil beri burung merpati makan. Sbb burung merpati ni yg tolong nabi muhammad saw kat jabal thur masa nabi tgh lari dari kota makkah nak berhijrah ke kota madinah tu kan. Dia nyorok dalam fua thur n labah2 dan burung merpati tlg buat sarang utk mengaburi mata org yg kejar nabi muhammad saw konon2 gua tu takde org. Disebabkan itu, insyaAllah kalau kita beri makan burung merpati kat makkah, mereka akan doakan kita murah rezeki insyaAllah,:) in terms of zuriat juga dgn izin Allah.)

Emak :" Ya Allah, berilah zuriat yang sempurna yang dpt kami bela utk Nordina ya Allah.." (ok, this i know for a fact that she wants me to hear, cause i was standing next to her.haha). n she did doa for her other children and nephew n nieces too. But my name will always be the first. Aiyoo, sian mak saya, beria nak aqeef nak adik.huhu)

Scene 3 (Dalam bilik hotel mak n abah - my father said to me, when he thought i was my little sister when in fact she was in the toilet)

Abah : "khalidah, kau ambik duit2 ni, pegi sedekah n minta diorang doa aqeef dpt adik cepat2." (of course i took the money and sedekah dgn niat supaya mak dan abah saya dipelihara Allah selalu, ignoring his instruction.haha)

Ok. Ini adalah satu konspirasi between mak dan abah. Kan? Kan? Kan?

Ya Allah, yang Maha Mengetahui segalanya. Aturkanlah perjalanan hidup kami sebaik2nya. Amin.

And oh, selamat sampai sudah kami. Seronoknya....bukan main.. We're already planning our next umrah insyaAllah. Ramadhan maybe,:) but for now hati saya tertinggal kat saudi lagi. Parah. Takde hati nak buat pape. Hihi.

Oh nikmat coklat. Nikmat selera makan. Syukur. Baru je witness org yg takde selera makan. Sedih je tgk makanan sedap2 dpn mata, tapi nak makan sesuap pun susah. Mari bersyukur.:)

Papa aqeef's new toy. I'm officially poorer by a couple of thousand bucks today. But the sweet smile on his face made it all worth it.:) totally worth it.

Happy 29th birthday mohd syafik azrir!:) [eh, seminggu awal]. You must know that aqeef & i love you with all our heart ok? Enjoy your new toy by taking lots of pictures of aqeef n me tau,;p

Tadi tgh lepak2 dgn papa aqeef n aqeef lepas balik breakfast dgn bff saya cik faten, pegi klinik & beli stok susu n drypers aqeef, tetibe papa aqeef ckp "eh, ada van pos laju kat luar". Pastu tetibe teringat ada beli baju baby gap utk aqeef online. Kahkahkah.


I'm hooked to online shopping now. Mostly baju baju akip lah. Sbb i have nothing to lose pun kalau baju aqeef, n aqeef pun tak kisah kalau baju dia tak sesuai ke kan. Hihi.

I started buying online with one of my uni friends ijah last two weeks rasanya. Of course la sbb i trusted her kan, sbb tu berani je beli online in the first place. Lepas tu mmg bermacam2 bendalah saya beli online.


4 pairs of pyjamas for aqeef. Dia paling suka yg purple angry birds tu. suka betul sampai dia mintak terus buka n pakai terus.n terus nak tido, boleh?huhu.


Budak kecik takleh duduk diam diam. Ambik gambar pun susah. Tapi alhamdulillah, he likes all the pyjamas yg mama dia belikan.:)

Dah lah actually beli through facebook je. Beli kat "Noorayuni Anis Adam's collection". Jauh nun dari kedah. Tapi alhamdulillah, very efficient and semua baju true to the photos shown. Chanteq2 baju dia. Tak menyesal beli.:)
